We selected Greg to build our house based on the positive feedback we received from his previous clients.  We were not disappointed.  The collaboration with our architect was successful and, due to Greg’s experience, professionalism and attention to detail, the end result met our very high expectations.

Greg Samsa and his tidy team transformed my 1864 weatherboard house from a dilapidated, sorrowful wreck into a charming contemporary dwelling that still retains a sense of history.

Greg’s restoration skills come with a knowledge few builders today are capable of achieving.  Born and bred in Bowral he is no stranger to country courtesy and his determination to solve problems on a building site are matched by his ability to find solutions – and yet his is still full of surprises.

The other day I opened my front door to find a metre long chopping board with a stylish handle, along with a dozen duck eggs sitting cleaned and polished in a cardboard carton.  The chopping board was an off-cut hardwood plank from my cottage that he fished out of the skip and re-cycled for his client and as for the duck eggs you’ll have to ask Greg.

Greg Samsa was our builder when we did a major renovation in Bowral in 2015 and he supervised all of the landscaping including the building of the pool.

Greg was the best builder we have ever worked with on any building project.

He was reliable, efficient, completely upfront about all costs involved and a pleasure to work with both in the planning stages, during the build and post build whenever we needed him.

Were we to undertake another building project we would only want to do so with Greg as our builder. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

After purchasing a property that Greg originally built we asked him to do some additions and alterations which included building a pizza oven.

Greg worked in with our schedules and organised the works with little to no disruption to the household.  He and his team were efficient and very professional.

The pizza oven is a wonderful addition to our home and a testament to Greg’s skills – not only as builder but a craftsman in the true sense.

Greg has recently completed his third project for our family. The first renovation (a federation cottage in need of updating) was carried out whilst we were still living on the premises. His attention to detail and his organisational skills meant that we were able to comfortably exist side by side and not feel as if we were living on a building site.

Due to the success of this original project we then went on to do 2 new builds with him. Not only does he manage each project down to the smallest of details but he also doubles as an extremely proactive adviser on virtually all issues relating to the formation of a beautiful family home.

Having said all of this, we are about to embark on yet another project and will definitely be using Greg. Having lived in houses built by him for the past few years I can safely say that his build quality is second to none and that as a client you need to have faith that you are receiving the very best quality of house for your money.
